Quoting Daniel Starin <ds708@xxxxxxxxxxxx>:
Hi,
I send the following invite and no message is sent to dstarin1 at
gmail dot com. Anyone know why this could be? I was expecting to get
a muc invite message from the server to
dstarin1. Is gloox not including the from line in the message and
could this be the problem? I am using 1.0 beta 2.
<message xmlns='jabber:client'
to='test@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx' type='normal'><x
xmlns='http://jabber.org/protocol/muc#user'><invite to='dstarin1 at
gmail dot com'><reason>PARTY INVITE</reason></invite></x></message>
Hi Daniel,
The problem is most likely that gtalk doesn't support this kind of
invitations because it only allows incoming messages from people in
your roster. The invite generated for this request is is sent by the
MUC service. Have you tried with a non-gtalk account?
cheers,
Jakob
