I talked to a Google server guy and he added the issue to his things to look
into. I hereby forward his request for example xml where this occures. -)
Once their server is fixed, their clients can behave however they want.

IMO the only way to get rid of the problem is to fix it in all offending
implementations. I just submitted a patch for Jabberd2. ;)
