Hi,

I'm having the same problem with 0.9-rc1 as well.
The socket just disconnects after the message is sent.

Hi,

Which gloox version are you using? Works for me with latest trunk (and
there 
were no likely-related changes in quite some time, imho).
Even message_test echoes the char back ok.
